About dark shards.
Get my world to hardmode, get no deserts with corruption, only hallow one. But i have an underground caves, with big amount of sand, which got corrupted, and sometimes spawn Dark Mummies. Can a get dark shard drop from them, or i need exactly corrupted desert on surface for dark shards to drop?

Thanks for the info, looks like its time to stock up some battle potions and blue candles and make a long long farm trip into corruption caves.
