Master Mode Destroyer Tips
Relentlessly losing my mind trying to defeat him. Any tips?
My world has Titanium if you wanted to know.

Other ranged players love the Deadalous Stormbow, though I heard it's been nerfed pretty significantly against the destroyer in particular. Meteor shots for guns, as they pierce nicely and have decent damage. Crystal bullets are better for bigger targets where the splash gets extra damage in, like the other mechs.

If you're playing on a world with multiple players when it's summoned make sure everyone's pulling their DPS as the bosses get a pretty big HP boost per player. For mobility, that's it - just keep moving around and picking your angles for the openings and try to line up multiple laser orbs at a time with piercing and try to snag the hearts the drop often there.

Moving the Dryad and Nurse in the area may also help as well as a Bast Statue/Campfire/heart lanter/honey to dip in every 30 seconds when you need rapid regen etc.

Finally if you're not Spec'd to Warding already on your accessories, do so to survive longer. If you are Warding, try switching to some more damage modifiers and seeing if the boss dying faster is better for your survival.

Have you tried the good old method of a Daedalus storm bow with holy arrows? Even with a nerf they can still get the job done. Add a magic quiver for more damage and faster shooting.

Also don't forget damage options if you do uses bows or repeaters. Archery potion namely, but having both the Magic Quiver and Molten Quiver both equipped can really make bows and repeaters powerful. The Wall of Flesh emblem for even more damage. You can also cast a minion, three if you drink a summoning potion and interact with a bewitching table. Minions do really good extra dps on top of your own.

Atop of that, Nimbus rod. Forged to Ruthless for 18% damage, 2 clouds surprisingly will do more than a half damage for the fight. You only have to stand atop high enough, take some honey, and daedalus bow + holy arrows

Thanks for all the tips, I finally defeated the Destroyer, twice actually.

nimbus rod + tomes like crystal and book of ichor to lower defense and multi-damage multiple segments

platform high enough so it can't reach you so no damage directly from the destroyer itself only the lazers and spheres.

ranger you wanna use multiple pierce or explosive arrows to deal AoE damage again multiple segments.

Hallow items like the crystal shard spike thing.

Basically anything that pierces multiple enemies use it.
Once you kill the destroyer craft ♥♥♥♥ with the souls of might don't just save them. Kill skeletron prime next and if you want re kill them to get more souls and hallow bars since the twins are imo the hardest mechanical boss.

The absolutely cheapest way is to build a box around 160 blocks high in the sky with a 2-tile gap on the underside with 2 platforms and platforms in the center.
Equip whatever you want, as long as it is mage gear. Get a weapon for Probes. I had the Spirit Lamp.
Get a Nimbus Rod.
Spawn Destroyer, fly up, spawn 2 clouds and wait.
Kill any probes that get inside your box.
Nimbus shreds the Destroyer in about 2 minutes.
