Although I PERSONALLY prefer the Nebula Blaze for even large bossfights.
Presently I've been using Rainbow Gun, Magnet Sphere, Spirit Lamp and Specter Staff, as the situation calls for them. But this whole Lunar Event thing is completely new to me, so I was hoping to make a more educated decision on which Nebular magic weapon to make before making one and finding it to be not a good choice going ahead.
Because I don't presently have enough for both? The Cultist Boss and the enemies spawned by the towers are brutal enough as it is, and I'm going to need to go through them at least once more in order to get enough fragments to make my next set of armor, which I need to kill the Moon Lord for, possibly twice. I'd prefer not to have to grind through the meyhem of those towers and the Cultist more than I need to.
I was hoping that one of these two weapons would help alleviate some of that... carnage, at least a little bit.
Either way, I'd prefer to try and save my fragments for armor before using it all on weapons and items. I was considering making -one- of the two weapons in the hopes that it would be of use to making getting the rest ofwhat I need a little easier. But I don't know anything (outside of what's on the wiki) about how each of the two perform. Thus why I had hoped to garner a little insight from people who already have experience with using them.
Mana Flower = Turns Mana pots (buyable via wizard and merchant, craftable via mushroom biome) into equiv of ammo (gun dealer).
Mana problem solved.. Cuffs = Unnecessary
Greater Mana potions = 5 silver per pop
1 single "Yellow Marigold" or Blueberry Bush (very common flowers) = 20-30 gold per pop ..
Also see "Discount Card"..
Having to track down sand, dayblooms, and nightglows have always been a pain for me. By the time you get a blaze or arcanum, the damage mitigation is almost minute compared to the rate of fire provided by SOME magic items (shadowbeam staff, razor pine, last prism). But that's just MY opinion.. I've never had problems raising money for greater pots via the wizard, especially on expert.. But hey, to each their own.
