Need some direction/focus help

So I'm finally attempting to beat this game after years of getting to the start of hard mode and then playing something else. With 1.4 I figured it's about time I play till the end so I can scratch Terraria off my bucket list.
I'm on normal (since my reflexes are garbage) and I've just beat the Golem.
Fairly sure I need to beef up my gear as the hardmode bosses have been rough for me.
So what should I be focusing on? I'm running titanium armor but only need the chest for the chloro whatever jungle set.
I've got Excalibur, mega shark, meteor staff, both spider minion and sentrys, the marrow bow and the other bow that rains arrows from the sky. Oh and the heat ray (think it's called that, runs on magic like the meteorite gun did pre wall of flesh).
I've got bee wings, the regen ring with the reduced potion cooldown, the Cape that increases invincibility frames and drops Stars, the cobalt shield, and boots that do almost everything. Can't remember the names. Oh and the flying bee mount.
So how do I power up from here? What are my goals? I get the feeling the Duke, empress and moon lord are going to eat me alive if I try them now.

You are severely underleveled, get Hallowed/Chlorophyte armor, if you're melee get Terra-Blade and Vampire Knives, if you're ranged get Eventide, Chain Gun. If you're mage get Blizzard Staff, overall get Martian Invasion weapons too i suggest.

You're at the correct point to do empress and duke fishron. My main reccomendation is to focus on a specific class. It is not worth it to play jack of all trades type in terraria due to the insane benefit of dps you get from many accesories specific to one class, ie. the emblems. If you are close to chlorophyte then perhaps focus on ranger, and work towards obtaining shroomite which is a higher tier version of chlorophyte, and is obtained by getting the autohammerer from the truffle npc. Try to get better ammunition if you haven't such as crystal, ichor, cursed, or chlorophyte bullets, and focus your modifiers and accesories towards the class you want ie. crit chance, warding, or damage modifiers. If you find you have difficulty with the next bosses, then try to do some of the events such as pumpkin moon or martian invasion as they will get you higher level items and a better mount in the form of the cosmic car key which is the best flying mount behind the pirate ship (obtainable only in master). Your main goal really is to get enough gear to defeat lunatic cultist, and defeat a couple of the celestial pillars to get some minor upgrades before moon lord.

Weapon: megashark is pretty good to shred through eveything till you get vortex beater, just stock up on chlorophyte bullet or crystal bullet. you can get golden shower to reduce armor of enemies to increase your dmg even more.

Armor: Shroomite armor with bullet helmet.

Accessories: steampunker wings, master ninja gear, ankh shield (optional), ranger emblem, terraspark boots (lightning boots minimum). any more slots you can use whatever you like.

Duke Fishron strategy: set up 2 teleporters around 150 blocks apart that is 75 blocks above the ocean, then keep teleporting when he approaches you while u shower him with chlorophyte bullets (megashark or tactical shotgun works well).

I doubt he has 3 plat as it is normal mode, so betsy wings would be more obtainable.

betsy wings is actually hard to get. wave 7 is hard especially when u have to power through 5 and 6 with bosses. alternative would be spooky wings or flying mount such as ufo so you dont even have to use wings.

I suggest starting a new expert world and getting items from easy expert bosses but before u do use the advice from the comments above or below this one.

erm, idk how to help u. imma assume ur a mage, so ill start there. if u are a mage, go to the dungeon and farm out ectoplasm, get chloro bars, make spectre armor (the mask i believe) and get mothron wings. get a mana flower and make either an arcane flower, mana cloak, or flower magnet and get some extra mobility, such as a tabi. thats as far as i can help, so
