Moon Lord hoik method

Does the hoik method still work for him? If not then do y'all got any other tips? Btw this is a master mode world im fighting him on.

Get the pirate ship mount, vortex beater, rod of discord, hallowed armour, chloro bullets and best damage accessories.

Go to one edge of the map and fly the ship into the sky (you wont need wings or other mobility accessories we want pure damage).
Summon moonlord, when the regular terraria music stops and the screen starts to blur for the last time start flying towards the other edge of the map - moonlord will appear, shoot back towards him as you leave his range.
He will teleport to you, use some basic attacks (shooting a few bullets or using a death ray) before you leave his range again.

Continue flying til he dies or you reach edge of the map (at which point either fly under/over him and go the otherway or use shell to teleport to the other side and continue).

Rod of discord is for avoiding the death ray, moving up or down slightly will make the small bullets miss you usually, hallowed set effect is just a safety.

On a large map with full damage top level damage accessories forged for crit chance with wrath pot, rage pot and best food buff itll take about a full world pass to kill the moonlord on master.

You can make any adjustments as you feel comfortable. Overall its quite a safe method.
