"Pinky has Arrived"

I was in the underground desert killing a bunch of enemies with the spawn rate up, trying to get the Lamia vanity set, and then I got the message "Pinky has Arrived", unless I had misread it.

At first I thought maybe "Pinky" was a possible name for the Party Girl, but when an NPC arrives it also says what kind of NPC they are. If this were the Party Girl, it would have said "Pinky the Party Girl has arrived". Also, I don't even currently have a Party Girl so that's definitely not it.

I then thought maybe it was a possible name for a cat. Like, the ones you get from the Zoologist. But I checked and the only cat I have is named Remy.

The only other "Pinky" I know of in Terraria is that small pink slime that drops gold coins. But they don't come with any sort of chat message when they spawn, right?

I'm playing in a single player world so I can't open chat to view the message again. Although, I do remember some weird probably a glitch way to do it. It was something like you could open the chat menu only when viewing the map, or only when viewing the beastiary. I dunno.

If anyone knows what this is, or a way to view the chat message again please tell me.

Okay I'm an idiot the chat key is not the key I thought it was. I've opened the chat and found the message. Is there any way I can post an image on here?

It may have happened because of the increased spawns. I've seen cases where people trying to summon Golem with maxed spawns would get "Armored Skeleton has awoken!" and Golem wouldn't spawn. My best guess is that an NPC tried to move in the same frame a Pinky spawned.

I think it's the name of one of pets. So if you recently summoned the Cat, Dog or Bunny or they recently left.

They changed this in 1.4 - you can now open the chat with ENTER, even in a singleplayer world.
