Graveyard for Biome Key farming
Would that work? I'm hoping to increase the enemies' spawn rate this way. Or does the Graveyard prevent the keys?

It makes little sense. Why would you want to do this? A graveyard does not buff any spawns nor does it increase drop rates. It lowers them as you cannot use biome torches.

Dunno, but here it mentions its "high spawn rate": https://terraria.gamepedia.com/Graveyard
And in my experience a Graveyard felt at least as if the spawn rate was signifcantly increased with all those Zombies and Ghosts out there ...

If you make a graveyard on any biome, you will not get any biome key because the is not graveyard key/chest.

That's what I'm afraid of. But I'm not sure since the wiki says (in another context) "as a graveyard is always in combination with a different biome, [the NPCs'] happiness value will be based on the other present biome" (https://terraria.gamepedia.com/Graveyard again).

Well, if the wiki said that, what is your doubt then? Hahaha.
You already have the answer.

But in my opinion, I think that make a room with meteor blocks, a water candle and battle potions is more than enough.

Good luck. (:

Meteor heads don't drop keys.

I don't know, I just saying that because one guy in my server got like 4 biomes keys making those strange meteor rooms.

I'm old school, I just kill a lot of enemies with my candles and potions, hahaha.

I understand, but after idling an hour in hallowed ice biome with getting nether a Hallowed Key or a Frozen Key I'm starting to become a bit desparate. D:
Even got a Rod of Discord by now, but there's no key for me anywhere.

Yeah, I just want to turn the RNG game a bit into my favor. But don't want to find out that the Graveyard biome doesn't do anything good is by not finding anything after a couple of hours.

Even if it boosts the spawnrate of non-graveyard enemies, which I assume it doesn't, why would it? And if it would, anyone would speak about 1.4 graveyard farms, the biome makes torches obsolete.
Your best bet is to do a standard lava farm ~168x100 blocks big with a safebox in the middle and increase your luck to the max. Torches, Luck potions and gnomes. Everything else is too much of a hassle..

Additionally, you can place some water candles from the dungeon und drink battle potions to increase the spawn rate.

Everyone who sets up a farm knows this.

Everyone? Really? Oh, that's why wcc tried to increase the spawn rate by using a graveyard biome instead of using water candles and battle potions. Makes perfect sense, really :steamfacepalm:. Just because YOU know those things doesn't mean everyone does.
