Tree won't grow?

I planted few trees and it's being 5 days passed and didn't even grow and inch. Anyone knows what gives?

they may be too close to each other. 3 to 5 block space between them lets them grow. Also if you are talking about gem acorns, those only grow underground/cavern level or below. They will not grow on the surface.

The usual reasons are "Did you leave background walls or objects in the way", "Did you leave enough vertical space" and "is there spare dirt and open air space next to both sides of the tree?"

I forget if mushroom or dye flowers can block growth if they spawn next to the sapling.

If you forgot to mention the fact you are trying to grow GEM trees (not in the title, not in the post) those won't grow if there is light near them, on top of needing to be underground

Ok il check the space between them cuz nothing blocks them.

if i remember it's about 5 spaces with a torch in between each.

Its been 5 game days they are same size.

there are sunflowers and dirt too close to them. 2 empty spaces on either side needed.
