PSA: Ecto Mist

Ecto Mist is the misty effect produced by 4-6 graves. should be obvious.

If you play hardcore you can ignore dying and butcher npcs. but its likely you play softcore.


It is a good idea at some point to do one of two things:
If you die a lot, stockpile 6 graves.

If you don't die a lot, find a way to kill yourself enough times, usually 6. and usually by falling down a hellevator.

Either way, there are 3 notable things made while ecto mist is around:
1: Craft the gravediggers shovel. Very useful for getting hellevators started and also for clearing dirt.
2: Buy the Quad-barrel shotgun. AKA pre-hardmode cheese. Same cost as minishark. A sidegrade: You gain the ability to do absolutely stupid damage but not a lot of range.
(Seriously, go try it)
3: Make Boulder statues. These are slightly less braindead then the other two. The idea is to have statues to help clear the old ones army.

I def didn't just make this post for complaining that the ranger we have picked up the minishark and isn't melting all the bosses into gelatin

NPCs produce tombstones when they die in hardcore
