Summoner: Spooky armor vs tiki armor

I've been playing terraria for a bit but never gotten around to a summoner class until now and I was curious on which post-plantera armor is better: Spooky or Tiki?

what most people do is get the damage booster from spooky than switch to tiki.

Spooky armor is better than Tiki armor, albeit harder to obtain.

Why would anyone do it if Spooky is better.
And damage boosting got removed in 1.4.

im 12 idk see why me not knowing something is that bad i always thought they were even with one doing more damage and the other getting another summon

okay so tiki armour gives more summons and its idea is if i summon more they will dmg more
and gives more defense
spooky gives a damage boost as a set bonus and then is just do dmg before they dmg me kindof idea

No. Tiki armor does not give more summons. Spooky armor gives the same amounts, and 28% more damage and 20% more movement speed.
People are simply not able to post properly.

No. Tiki armor does not give more summons. Spooky armor gives the same amounts, and 28% more damage and 20% more movement speed.
People are simply not able to post properly.

According to the wiki both armors increase total minion count by 4. Making spooky objectively better with its extra damage and movement speed. : |

Spooky is better but good luck doing the event without dying a bunch of times to pupking.

Tiki is sightly worse but far easier to get, so you do Tiki and get spooky as you're farming to get Raven staff and papyrus.

Tiki gives more minions, but spooky gives more damage. If you're not using any buffs or accessories, tiki is better, but with 1 (or more) minion boosting buff spooky is better
