Is it possible to Transfer Tmodloader Characters or worlds to Terraria?

Is it possible? I played over 25 hours of tmodloader and I want to transfer my Character, or at least my world? I'm not going through the process of 25 hours again just to get everything that I have.

if you mean can you move modded characters into the un-modded game by putting their files into the un-modded folders, the answer is yes but you will lose everything that comes from the mods. only the vanilla game items would remain. Your modded worlds will work too but all the modded items will disappear from them and all the mod furniture and mod ores will show up as pink blocks that drop nothing when destroyed.

if your asking if your 1.3.5 mod characters will work with modded 1.4 the answer is yes The modded worlds will be just fine too but you won't have all the 1.4 content in them.

But what should i do? i don't have any mods, do i have to remove them from the game or something?

I got the world to work, i think if i put the items in a chest, i hope i can get all of my items

your saying you installed TMOD and then didn't load anymods in 1.3.5 and now want to use those characters and worlds in vanilla 1.4 if i'm understanding you correctly. If that is the case then just copy them from the TMOD save into the vanilla save folders and you should have no problems. 1.3.5 worlds still will not have all the 1.4 content though.

i did have mods, though, they only helped a little, should i try to put my items in the chest? so then i can get them in 1.4?

If the items are vanilla game items then you won't need to move them unless the slot they are in is created by a mod. If that's the case then Yes, put them in a chest or something as the modded slot would dissapear deleting whatever is in it. If the item is a mod item then no moving to a chest or anything else will save it. All the mod items will dissapear.

I'm talking about slots like the dedicated wing slot mod which creates a slot for the wings which doesn't exist in vanilla terraria

yeah, i removed all of my mods and all my items are vanilla, so, i can't figure out how to transfer the charecter, but i can transfer the world, ima figure out if it saved everything

They are transferred the same way. copy and paste. the worlds go to the world folder and the characters to the players folder

i tried that and it doesn't work, my Crisis_Zombie Character doesn't appear in the Character Selection

Well that's as far as my knowledge on the subject goes. Without being able to see what your doing, I can't really give any further advise or even be able to tell if your doing something wrong or not. Hopefully someone else can advise you further.

i figured it out, i put my items in the chest, and now they're in the 1.4 game!

i have a question tho, my spawn area looks spooky and has thunder in the background, does that mean something?

yes, you have too many tombstones nearby and have created the graveyard biome. if you don't want it there than pick up all the tombstones.
It isn't all bad though. Crafting stations will have a few new items you can craft and some npcs sell different items while in the graveyard biome.
