Has anyone been able to farm a rod of discord recently?

i know rng can be terrible at times as i have played games where they are nothing but grinds but i see the chance of it dropping are .25% but i have not gotten a single one in like 1500 chaos elementals and are wondering if someone else has managed to get one

it's kind active afk farming in a huge area i mined out while i let my terraprismas kill stuff and i use a scope to look at the loot every 10 minutes or so

I have, try increasing your luck by using luck potions, capturing and releasing ladybugs (your luck is increased if you touch one, don't forget to catch it again) and using hallow torches, also get a gnome garden. These methods should increase the chance for one to drop by a decent amount.

Every individual one has that percentage. Your chances or probabilities never increase and you can kill a million without getting one.
Get your luck to 0.7 so you have atleast a .425% chance.

I found out that slamming on dummies with a slime saddle makes you not being afk so spirits keep spawning.

This does not work. You have to touch wild ones. Captured ones can only be touched by other players.

i can't really get lady bugs since the event does not really like to play often for me

so i got the slime staff before rod of discord...

With the new update you cannot afk, you need to move every 5 seconds or they will not spawn, I set up a macro for this, but it still took me about 900 kills to get one.
