Desert Spirit

Ok so i need help i cant seem to find any Desert Spirits to make it clear
Its hardmode
Im in a Corrupted Desert
im underground
and iv been moving around from end to end and digging into caves for over an hour yet to see any.

Make a big open area. If you move they keep despawning. Stay in the area and they spawn frequently.

They just can't stop spawning in crimson underground desert.
I hate them.

Make sure you're actually in the underground layer, they don't spawn if you're too high up. They spawn like crazy, and usually in groups.

Those things are ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ devil spawn. Do yourself a favor and give up, you DO NOT WANT THOSE THINGS TO SPAWN.

Spirit Lamp is worth it though

so this maybe something so the corrupted underground of the sand biome im in looks different than the underground of the normal sand biome wtih all the bugs the corrupted one has like the shadow cores and long narrow hallways going up and 1 long narrow path through it.

That's just normal underground corruption, friend

so then do i have to take blocks from the corruption and make my desert into a corrupted biome all just to get 1 monster?

Not necessarily. If you take enough ebonsand underground you can make an artificial corrupted desert.

Well if the corruption is next to your underground desert it should solve itself pretty soon if you're in hardmode.

From the sound of it, it seems like it isn't his underground desert that's corrupted, just corruption tunnels under a desert
