I'm a summoner, mechanical bosses seem impossible.

I have the spider set and staff, so I have 4 spiders and the book of skuls, I know, that weapon is kinda weak, but is what I have, also I don't have wings nor a walking fast/dash item, and I just can't fight them, I get destroyed, what should I do?

It's best to get wings and try to get warding on all your accessories.

In terms of weapons, I recommend getting the cool whip and maybe the blade staff. Both are fairly easy to get and will get you a bit more damage.

4 spiders? Wow.
With the armor and buffs you should have 8 spiders. Doubling your damage output.

Also get wings. Get dashes.
You cannot expect to fight bosses when you have a clear ♥♥♥♥ setup of items, sorry.

i advise HEAVILY to get wings, as you're basically dead before the fight even starts if you aren't using wings. to increase your summons further, you'll need the bewitching table and summoner potion (ingredients are moonglow and varigated lardfish i think.) a powerful accessory you could use to increase your summon damage would be the sharktooth necklace (i think you can upgrade the necklace too.) if you're in a crimson world, get the golden shower for the ichor debuff. furthermore i would advise going to the underground hallow and killing enchanted swords for the staff they drop. you should upgrade your accessories to either warding or menacing. if you have an accessory slot available, you should grind the wall of flesh for a summoner emblem. getting a whip of some kind would be useful too. they may not have the best range but they can help increase your summons damage. if you need more clarification or information, add me and message me, i wouldn't mind explaining things in clearer detail.

I got the items, but not the ore, got myself harpy wings and the blade staff, now I'm close to killing them, but phase 2 is hard, I need more summons AND defense.
