Most Worthless Weapon? (In your opinion)

Not the worst, but the most worthless choice of weapon for your stage of progression.

For example, Copper Shortsword is pretty bad, but serves you well until you can find a better melee. My pick would be the Hornet Staff, which is pretty bad by itself and gets replaced by the Imp Staff very quickly. What do you think is the most worthless weapon?

magic missile. you get it, and its already pretty bad but you can just get the flamelash basically right after

Leather whip. The very first summoner's weapon costs about 15 gold, requires you to unlock 80 entries for the zoologist, does 14 damage a hit and gains 0 benefits unless you're wearing bee or crimson armour.. And at that point you'd either go with crafting snapthorn or use a different weapon entirely.

Pirate Staff. It's just worse than the spider staff and way more difficult to get.

+1 to Flaming Arrows. I would add Venom Arrows, as you need to beat Plantera to unlock them. Chlorophyte Arrows were before 1.4 (assuming they are working as intended now).
