5120x1440 probs
Is there a way to use this resolution and zoom out to 100%? I tried that mod I think it's called RTR but when using the super ultra-wide resolution it doesn't allow me to zoom out further than 133%. Which cuts off a significant amount of screen space above and below.

It’s to basically make it so the screen size isn’t so large you’ll be seeing monster spawn on screen, 1920x1080 is good enough for most (if they have access to it)

Starbound plays perfect on the super ultra-wide. I just assumed this game would too.. I don't see why we can't push back the rendering distance.

Even Torchlight 2 was modded to zoom out further and increase rendering distance for the ultrawides and super ultra-wide. I wish I knew what I was doing so I could just mod it myself. I really think it would be a fun game to play on this screen or even multiple screens if you're one of those people that has three or more monitors.

lol render distance in a game like terraria doesnt make sense, just do 1920x1080.

I mean its your preference but i dont see why you would have that resolution, even 1920x1080 is massive.

I have that resolution because I have a super ultra widescreen monitor...

I think it's apparent that I already knew about the zoom feature as I stated it in the original post. It does not allow you to zoom out all the way when using ultrawide screens.
9 year old game will not work with ultra wide screens as its far too big.Ultra wide was not a thing when this came out.

game works fine in ultra wide in 4k, if something doesn't look good, just press alt+enter and the game will change into whatever is your desktop resolution and run much better.

In 4k max zoom is 189% I'm guessing because there's a max they want us to be able to see.

Vote for higher resolution support and/or upscaling techniques to bridge the gap.

There's a mod called rtresolution v0.3 and supposedly it's a version specific for this latest update. It's supposed to unlock the minimum zoom limit. Requires subscribing to a patreon though. Has anyone tried it?

yeah it works well, but kinda cheatish

I second this.

- In maximized window, 100% scale is too zoomed in. It says 213% in parenthesis.
- Fullscreen can only go up to 3840x1080.
- Borderless fullscreen glitched out at first. Still the same as regular fullscreen.

Playing in a window isn't that comfortable... Going to have too many misclicks.

Sure it does, get some logic and than ask again. Mobs dont have to just pop in and a simple solution would to add animations when they do on screen so it actually makes sense.
