is Terraria fun to play solo?

I know about Terraria from Totalbiscuit's playthrough from WAYYYYYYYYY back in the day amd it was the reason I bought the game, but I don't really have anybody to play it with, and if I did have somebody to play with, I have a problem with regularily setting up a time that I can play games with somebody. I do want to play Terraria, is it worth playing solo you think?

I only play the game solo and I love it so much. The only downside is the beginning of the game is super slow.

I only team for the endgame event battles, otherwise I play by myself, yet this is my third most played game on Steam, and I own it on 360 and PS4 as well. So yeah, I'd say it's fun to play alone. It scratches the same design and build itch for me as Minecraft, but with NPCs that are useful and intelligible. It's got simple sidescrolling platforming and combat. It's fun to explore and hunt for ores, gems, and treasures, then gaining hp, mp, and gear to explore more challenging areas.

It has everything! Comined in one game!!!

The first time playing the game, with no walk throughs, help or other people was a blast. The constant feeling of accomplishment when you discovered something new or even ground breaking is something you remember through out all your game time playing Terraria.

Absolutely, I'd even reccomend doing it without a guide as much as possible because the means of discovering how to progress are all there. The one thing you should know is the housing button in the menu which will guide you how to make homes which is important for getting new vendors.
