Can’t stop, won’t stop raining.
A vague title, but basically, no matter what I do for my world, it won’t stop raining. I’ve used in-game items, such as the rain potion from calamity, I’ve used mods, heck, I’ve even used TEdit, but nothing works. Something is clearly broken in my world, but I really don’t want to restart it because of stupid rain. (Also because it’s my best world yet but shhh-)
Any help would GLADLY be appreciated. Running the most recent version of tmodloader fyi.

tEdit should have worked, unless when the rain was stopped in the program it stared up again immediately upon re-entering your world. To stop rain in tEdit, you need to find the checkbox for "Is Raining" and un-check it. You then need to *save* your world in tEdit (and consider switching off autosave while you're at it), launch your game and re-enter your world. Exiting your world will update the regular ".wld" and ".wld.bak" files so that you no longer need the ".twld" file created by tEdit.

If you've done this and your rain still doesn't stop at all then try uninstalling Calamity and maybe any other mods you have installed, and possibly even tModLoader (replace the tModLoader executable with the vanilla executable) and see if you still get rain. This might be a mod issue. If it is then you should let the mod creator know because it probably isn't intentional.

Okay, this may sound stupid, but I figured out why it was raining forever. It wasn't a bug... it was an in-game event. Apparently the acid rain causes an infinite downpour in your world until it's completed.
