Wall of Flesh

Me and my friend are at the point to fight the Wall of Flesh. If you have any tips or strategies we could use make sure to tell us!

Try and build a streight path backwards, backing from the wof while attacking. use range unless out of ammo

Water walking potions are your friend - you don't need a built path if you can run along the lava.

If the two of you are together, make sure someone is focused on opening paths through the walls ahead (or carve a long stretch through the buildings before starting the fight).

If you have beenades, they will absolutely mince it.

Depending on the difficulty you're playing it might be good to use minecarts, it's very easy to build and super quick (just stay on your minecrat while building). Also be sure you made paths in the buildings you'll encounter so you don't get blocked while fighting.
And last thing, summon him from one of the side of your world so you're sure to have enough time to kill him :)

You don't need to go this far, but since you asked for hints:

01 - Build a bridge that goes from one side of the map to the other, better use blocks instead of platforms because enemies won't pass through and bother you.

02 - Clear out all buildings and blocks from your path, you want a clean open area to hit him without having the issue with ammo hitting walls and stuff, you also don't want to deal with obstacles during the race.

03 - From time to time remove 1 block from your bridge in case you accidentally kill a Lava Slime, it will spill lava around all the bridge and this will bother you, hit you, and could kill you as well.

04 - Have a lot of movement speed, you could get that from boots (and upgrades) or a Pet Mount that moves fast, you will need it to race against the Wall of Flesh.

05 - Use as many potions as possible to gain movement speed and resistance, there's a lot of them and they are easy to craft since you are ready to go to Hardmode, you a have all ingredients at your disposal.

06 - Use weapons that deal damage from distance and AoE, (ranged and mage) because you won't want to get close to him, you want to be as far as possible while you can hit him, even if you can't see him.

07 - Use weapons with punch through, he will summon a lot of mini-mouth to tank and block damage, you want to aim directly to his main mouth.

08 - He will spawn at the far side of the world based on where you throw the Guide Doll, if you throw it in the left side of the world, he will come from the left, and vice-versa.

09 - The Wall of Flash is the Guide, he is pissed off because you throw him into the lava and killed him, he won't stop until reaching you and won't allow you to leave Hell if you teleport back to your house, HE WILL TAKE YOU AND DRAG YOU BACK.

Beenades are by far the deadliest counter to WoF, but they are a bit hard to get. But if you have 100 or better yet 150 you are going to make him say daddy.

Definately bee based weapons. Before you beat the WoF... make sure you aim to get the terraspark boots and the phone if you want to have an easier time in Hardmode :P
