Can we PLEASE get a slot to put minion summons
I mean...come on.

So every time I die I dont have to press escape, click on my staff, click outside of the inventory, then move it back to its slot and set it down. Also its annoying it takes an entire inventory slot

You kinda need to do this for your pets, too, whenever you die.

Say what? No, you don't, as the Pet slot automates the process. Have you even played the game?

Don't know about you, but when an enemy comes right up into my face, I benefit from a melee weapon, despite me being a magic using class. I try to avoid it, but it happens.
Or you could use magic weapon and deal more damage due to accessory/armor bonuses?
Or I could use a weapon that gets them out of my face, damage be damned. I'm trying to get a slap hand right now.

Summoners are currently their own class. If we have a slot for them then we gotta have a slot for every other weapon type because *technically* every weapon is 1 use. You can also use a minion staff multiple times to refresh the minion buff in the same way you can hit a mob for multiple damage points.
But that's like not how it works. I see the minion as more of a passive thing. Once I set it I never set it again until I respawn, whereas literally all other classes are active. I HAVE to keep clicking to use them.
Wow, that's SO MUCH work.

You have a hotbar that can have multiple weapons on it. Just switch between the two.

I fail to see how using weapon type which you don't have accessories or armor set for is "benefitting"?

Automatically getting summons back on respawn would be great though. I don't remember to cast summons when respawning and I'll just end up going a long while without summons.
You don't use them often like you use your other weapons, you only use them once. That's why it could and should be possible to have summon slot.

So your goalposts already moved from "all characters will benefit" to "in this exact situation you MAY benefit"

And he said that pets get summoned automatically from pet slot. You sure like to alter peoples words to fit your cause, even your own words from earlier.

I hear this being said so much. Why not just use your ranged weapon that your armor is already supporting and shoot the guy. Unless you're fighting something beefy, it's going to go down much quicker than switching off, swinging, and switching back. If you are fighting something that is beefy, just shoot it till it dies.

Or better yet, if your ranged gear is terrible and your melee is way better, make some melee armor and switch off your spec until you get what you need to make your ranged better.

I'll just wait for him to twist your words so that you recommend that anyone will benefit from melee weapon because you said that switching to melee is a possibility.

Summons aren't a buff, they're gained from using a weapon.
Neither are light pets, but they can be gained by hitting the buff key. What's your point?
