Can't place forest pylon

Hey, so I have the guide and the merchant in a 2 bedroom house in the forest near the dungeon. The merchant will sell me the forest pylon, but it wont let me place it. It is just red when I try to. Anyone know whats up?

Well the only thing i could say is, is there atleast 2 npcs at the area of placement?

I have 2 NPC´s in a house and 25 blocks away another house with 1 NPC.
Like in every other Biome.. I was able to place every pylone till now.

I can buy it but when i take it in my hand to place its only red. If i take another pylon in my hand (forest biome for an example) its not red. I could place the forest pylon in the hollow but i cant use it. Its very strange

You can only place 1 of each pylons in a world unless you play Journey.

Hm, I thought maybe it was that I wasn't actually in a forest biome. But they sell me the forest pylon. So idk?? Anyone know a reliable way to check biome other than music/general look

you can only have one pylon of each type at once while they still sell it you can only have one in the respective biome like the orginal forest pylon is the only forest one you can have
