My world's dungeon hasn't given me a shadow key or muramasa
They were the only two things I wanted out of that dungeon, and I got neither. I have been as thorough as I could; used danger sense potions to find all the crumbling walls and spelunker potions to spot any chests, but there's just nothing more. I've seen my entire dungeon, and it hasn't given me an item that should always spawn in it. In a master world on top of it all.

Doesn't help that I really dislike the dungeon. Never mind the annoying enemies, the spikes alone make me loathe my existence. And now I feel like I wasted my time struggling through it.

Am I missing something? Is this a bug maybe? Anyone else have this problem?

I ended up creating a fishing pool outside the wall of the dungeon and fished up quite a few dungeon crates before I finally got the shadow key. As long as you are standing in front of the dungeon background (which means you do need to mine a few dungeon blocks to get that background) and are also at least -3 below the surface it will count as a dungeon fishing spot.

The crate will have a golden lock box which needs a golden key to open. It always contains one rare item normally found in locked Gold Chests in the Dungeon. Good Luck!

chest spawns are random, you just got unlucky, you can go fishing in the dungeon for crates or go to a new world and open those chests

I figured it was possible to not get a Muramasa, but you'd think the game would guarantee at least one Shadow Key.

just make a different world, kill skeletron, and find one in the new world, and come back to the original world.

Ah, I didn't know there are dungeon specific chests. That would be neat if it wouldn't be actual hell to fish in the dungeon :,D But at least I know it's still possible to get those things without cheating, thanks!

Yeah, I have never been this unlucky before. I was so used to getting a key in every dungeon, I thought there was a 100% chance of getting one every time
