Where can I get more moonglow from?

I need it for spelunky potions, which I need to find titanium. Titanium seems to be very rare.

Any ideas how to find it.

You can get moonglow in the jungle or underground jungle. Wait for the night for it to bloom, it glows blue when blooming for seeds. Use the seeds at your base to make a farm for easy access. Find clay and make clay pots for planting them.

Furthermore, you can also buy Planter Boxes from the Druid if you are more interested in an alternative to clay pots (Box type doesn't matter).

Also, if you are on the hunt for Titanium specifically, you should be spelunking far down into the crust, around where Lava spawns in pools.
The three hardmode ores that generate with your world as you break altars spawn at different levels where the stronger types are found much further down in the underground near lava.

I already started to use planter boxes. But it grows very slowly. Does the biom matter, where to place the plants?

I think it only matters to harvest at night when it blooms as part of being renewable, otherwise your source of seeds is going to run out. You might be able to skip ahead time with a bed, but I am not sure about this. I do recall Moonglow being somewhat slow to grow.

Yeah, there is your conundrum. You need to be down there to find and mine Titanium, else you can only acquire Titanium in another way, such as fishing for crates.

Going to lava is quite dangerous for a Mediumcore character.
I already lost some gear forever, because it felt into lava when I felt into it.

Ah. now I see your conundrum even further. Mediumcore does raise the stakes a bit.

In that case, consider Obsidian-skin potions and Lava Charm if you are worried about lava and even then you can keep a recall option ready because you most likely have a few seconds to warp out even if you do end up in deep lava. Turning on autopause might help if you are okay with preparing for an "about to fall into lava" situation. Just drink a recall potion or gaze in a magic mirror to zip on out just as you unpause and things get hot.

And you don't have to get into near proximity with lava to mine Titanium since it could just as well spawn in solid rock someplace else from it. All that matters is that you are deep enough and you should be able to find titanium in fragile and safe spots just as well.
