Missable Bestiary Enemies
Besides the wall creeper who only spawns in pre-hardmode world, are there other enemies that only spawn before killing the wall of flesh? Also, since there is only one type of evil in the world, do you have to bring stuff from other worlds to make a mini biome to have specific monsters spawn to 100% the list?

You do have to bring in the other type of evil, yes.
Wall Creepers and the giant worms stop appearing in hard mode and get replaced with a harder version. Cave bats and blue jellyfish are easier before hard mode too, but you can spawn the two of those with a statue and technically cave bats just become far more rare.
This is no longer the case! :D If you put the dryad in a graveyard mini-biome in hardmode, she will sell seeds for the opposite form of evil. EG: In a corruption world, she'll sell crimson seeds, and vice versa. So as of 1.4, it is possible to legitimately get both world evils in the same world without bringing anything in from another world.

Some other 'missable' bestiary logs can be obtained by talking with NPCs; EG: You can get the Dungeon Guardian log by talking to the tailor after killing skeletron. Or the 'Tortured Soul' log by talking with the tax collector after he moves in.

You can get Wall Creepers in hardmode.
The author of this thread has indicated that this post answers the original topic.

Well if you played on a corruption world you wouldn’t get crimson monsters unless you played on two worlds of both evils. Right?

As stated in my post just before yours, It is now possible to obtain both world evils in any singular world without bringing in any outside items to do it. So you can get both corruption and crimson based bestiary logs in -any- world now.

That's really awesome and convinient.

I assume that is a change in 1.4? I haven't encountered one myself yet in hardmode, but it's possible it got changed to just being rare.
The only enemy that can't be found after hardmode at all would then be the giant worm, unless they had a similar change.

That is very nice to know. Single world completion is then actually an option.

I think statue-spawned ones count too, so if you wire a wall creeper statue to a timer and kill 50 of them...
