How to beat master mode mechanical bosses

I'm playing with a friend and am having a hell of a hard time beating even one of them. We've decided to do destroyer first but haven't beaten it yet. Any tips? I'm running with full adamantite armor, hel-fire with a yoyo bag, daedalus, and a nimbus rod with the blade staff. How the ♥♥♥♥ do I beat the mechanical bosses

Honestly, I found that it's much easier with mage items. If you get the cursed flames/ichor tome and the crystal serpent along with the adamantite/titanium armor, it's not too hard.
My advice, unless you want to use a specific class other than mage, is: Start with the Twins. Grab gravitation potions and use them to fall up and down to avoid the attacks, dashing with the shield of chtulhu when necessary. Make sure to focus one of them at a time with your crystal serpent/crystal storm tome. If you manage to defeat them, craft the Rainbow Rod and the other two mechanical bosses will be much easier. I defeated the Destroyer first try with a combination of Ballista cane+Rainbow Rod.

Get clockwork rifle from WoF, farm crystals for crystal bullets, get gravity potion, summon twins and fly up and down to evade and kill them easily. For destroyer, build an arena that has some solid blocks, say 4 layers of blocks above each other, with some platforms so you go up and down. This makes it quite easy to avoid the lasers.

Get yourself a basilisk mount and you have all the mobility you really need to fight them, then let your accessories run wild with whatever damage output you want. I found Prime to be the easiest of all of them honestly, his speed being different now got me at first but he's pretty much still just as powerless as before if you're fighting him on platforms where his bombs do nothing.

Uh, for the Twins I guess something that works exceptionally well though is getting a frog leg, then just about any set of wings you can manage. You fly upwards so fast they literally have no idea how to deal with you.

Destroyer on master is ironically what I would now call the hardest of the mech bosses because his probes deal absolute mad damage now and are really tanky. Honestly, just use your stormbow to set off a ton of probes at once, then entirely focus that swarm down and repeat until he barely has any left. If you ignore them or try to outrun them they'll just pile up and become just about unkillable for you.

I personally just went through these fights with spider armor and a spider staff, and ichor'd most of the bosses so my spiders could tear them apart. I saved Destroyer for last because the Twins' summoner weapon absolutely slaps him and they're fast enough to deal with probes on their own too.

My friend running mage had golden shower and crystal storm, alongside the sky fracture, if that helps at all.
