Master mode is basically just Expert with more dependence on player skill and either knowing game mechanics and doing arena prep or knowing how to avoid hits.

Anyone who thinks otherwise is just bad at games. Terraria is easy, and so is master mode, it's just more tedious. None of the mods change this

It is somewhat of a letdown that most bosses (maybe all?) don't seem to have any new mechanics or behavior. The massive stat buffs to enemies has slowed my progress quite a bit. I'd probably be halfway into Expert hardmode by now, but I'm still gearing up for Skeletron. I do kinda like that it forces you to further refine your skills and builds tho. I used to not really bother with buff potions and farming. That has completely changed in Master lol.
