Uninstall then delete ALL files or folders IF anything is leftover. Restart your pc then reinstall fresh. See if that works.
There is another suggestion in the pinned thread about compatibility settings. Check it out.
Here is everything I tried
Run as admin.
Run on multiple settings (windowed, fullscreen, borderless, as well as various quality settings."
Reinstalled the game
Deleted config file.
Changed RazerChroma to "false" in config.
Checked PC for any Razer software/drivers, there is none.
Unchecked "read-only" on save folder.
Verified integrity of files.
Reinstalled .xna, .net, Java, direct x, and so on.
Turned on\off firewall.
Reinstalled GPU drivers.
I've got a newest version on Wndows 10
Nothing helps.
When you say run as admin you mean you did this ?
1. START TERRARIA AS ADMINISTRATOR
Right click the game in your Steam Library.
Go to Properties then the Local Files tab.
Click Browse Local Files.
Locate the game executable (the application).
Right click it and go to Properties.
Click the Compatibility tab.
Check the Run this program as an administrator box.
Click Apply.
Hopefully from all this someone will be able to figure it out.
