How does the terrablade actually stand?

Can any of the veteran meele players of this game give me an accurate representation how the terrablade stands versus other swords including post moonlord. I just started playing this game a few weeks ago and I was really sad to spend all the time grinding for it to realize that the end game swords make it look kinda out of league. With the best modifer do you think this sword is still at least top 10? thanks! also is solar flare armor overall better then beetle for meele

Solar flare armor is better than beetle, the terrablade is a decent weapon, it is definetly one of the best, it is used to defeat golem but not much else, you wanna keep it til you get the solar eruption because it makes the terrablade look like your man's dental floss, then defeat moon lord and farm him til' you get the meowmre which is the best sword in d game :D

its not the best but definently one of the best

Influx Waver is much, much better than Terra Blade, and much easier to obtain. Both Moon Lord swords are better too, though Star Wrath is the better of those. It's a p good Pre-Plantera wep, but doesn't measure up with the rest of the gear you can get later on, especially considering the whole hassle of grinding for it. Yo-Yos are better for bosses than swords anyways simply because you can create some distance and do rapid damage that homes on your cursor rather than slow-moving projectiles.

Eh, it's good when you find it but outclassed immediately the moment Golem is down. Not worth the grind imo.

The moment Golem is down, go fight the Martian Invasion for the Influx Waver, which is basically a direct upgrade to the Terra Blade. It's the weapon you'll want till Pillar stuff is available.

Meowmere is NOT the best sword. Star Wrath is much better, and Terrarian is the best melee weapon overall.

I don't even bother getting it anymore. The only thing it's good for it sniping pillars because the projectile goes far, assuming you don't already have an Influx Waver.

Terra Blade can get u pretty far, I find it reliable unless I have the influx waver, as long as u have the right gear Terrablade can get u to post moon lord.

For once someone understands that the Meowmere IS NOT the best weapon in the game, it may have the most damage but u gotta think about DPS not raw damage.

thanks guys.. got up to moon lord im not playing it well and i feel like i got some bad RNG but im getting stuck with terrablade guess ill have to use a pillar weapon thanks for all the help

I usually get the Terrablade in a playthrough. It was the best melee weapon back in early 1.2, and in those portions of the game it still is. It holds up against Plantera and Golem, and I'd heavily suggest you go and get one to help you out during mid-late game before you can get an upgrade.

solar eruption is great but its not a sword

Solar Eruption does mellee damage meaning it is a sword

pretty sure thats not how it works flairon does melee damage daybreak...... but they arent even close to being swords
