Speed up time?
Is there a damn way to speed up time? Sometimes night/day gets stupid because I want to spawn the mechanical boss after destroying couple of altars but they don't spawn so I have to wait another whole day to see if the boss will spawn. Even sometimes the 2nd day doesn't spawn the boss so I have to wait again! Ughhh

Make the Spawners or farm for them, To make them you need Night/Light souls, a Ingrediant that matches it (bones for skeletron)(Rotten chunks/vertebre for destroyer) and Iron, or if you kill random mobs they can drop it

For starters, you can summon bosses yourself by using their summon items, which can be crafted. As for your question, there is a way to speed up time, but you have to do fishing and such for it. The mechanic exists in the form of a sundial that lets you skip to morning once per in-game week (morning being 4:30am). Afaik there's no way to conversly skip to night.

\\The Enchanted Sundial is a Hardmode furniture item that can be placed and right-clicked to advance time to 4:30 a.m. (sunrise) the following day, though it will not be useable for 7 in-game days thereafter. It is obtained from opening Wooden, Iron, or Golden Crates during Hardmode. Crates are caught via Fishing. The Enchanted Sundial does not turn the time straight to the next day, instead simply passing time much more quickly than usual.

Notes[edit | edit source]
Its 7-day cooldown is shared between all Enchanted Sundials in the current world, so a second Sundial cannot be used to circumvent it.
The chances of invasions and other events are calculated as if the time actually passed.
In multiplayer, the Sundial will only count a cooldown day passing if there are players online when the in-game day changes.
Using the Enchanted Sundial to accelerate time will affect the Tax Collector, giving a rapid boost in collected money.
Can be used to skip the cooldown for Angler quests.
The Enchanted Sundial can be used to skip a Blood Moon.
