is centry summon weapon can exist only one at sametime?

i had lunar portal and RC staff.
but when i activate those weapons, first one has disappeared.

you can get armour sets and equipables to have more sentries spawned at a time. witch doctor sells some, and there is a potion or 2 i think as well

I think those only increase [Minion Count], as opposed to [Sentry Count]. The new armor sets from the Event apparently increase [Sentry Count], though.

That's a change in 1.3.4. There is a per-player maximum of sentries now. Normally it's one, but new equipment allows you to increase that limit. You can also use one sentry summoning staff to summon multiple sentries, assuming you have an increased limit.
