The Old Ones Army and the use of towers

So I recently have defeated the Tier 1 of the event and the weapons description has finally changed indicating that they can be used outside of the event. But... I cant seem to summon any of the towers/summon any of the towers at least once. Does anyone know if this is a known bug or intentional?

Summoning towers outside of the event still requires the Ethereal Mana stuff, so if you don't have enough it won't summon.

That can't be unless they've changed it recently. I've been able to summon towers outside the event without etherian mana, and the mana gets removed from your inventory when the event ends anyway.

Ok, this is weird.

Before I tabbed out to post this, non of the towers wanted to be spawned. I had full mana and everything.

I tab back into the game and now they work.

You should be able to. You'll summon one with a small amount of mana (one max). I don't know if this works for some towers; it works for the Balista, I know for sure.

That is indeed incorrect. Summoning them at least once should be possible and is possible. They do cost normal mana to summon however.

The etheral mana, from what I know, is mainly to be used for additional summons to top the one sentry summon that you can have at any time.

Etherian Mana is used to summon sentries whenever the Old One's Army is active. When it's not, EM is completely worthless even if retained after the end of the event.

The old ones army mana CAN be stored just don't open the chest while the event is un-active or it will dissapear
