how do I find "hook" in hardmode?

you know the crafting item used to make hooks, the one dropped by piranas and skeletons. How do I get it? all the skeletons have changed and the piranahas have been replaced by bigger fish. I just beat moonlord twice yet I still can't find hook in any of my worlds, not even the one I just made. I know you have to kill skeletons for it but they won't drop

i dont think they can spawn in hardmode. you might have to get another hook like a gem hook or buy one from the goblin tinkerer

Pre hardmode enemies still can spawn. You can buy hook from goblin. You can craft it using only gems. You can get/craft it as/from drop from lots of bosses and enemies, for example Moon Lord which you have already defeated.

If you are talking not about grappling hooks in general but about this specific hook (crafting item) you can build large lake somewhere in the caves and farm there piranhas because they spawn along with hardmode angler fish. Or just create new non hardmode world and farm it there.

Thanks for the responses, I guess I'll have to make an underground farm just for piranhas then. It was the specific crafting item I was looking for.
