Strategies For DoG?

I can't seem to take down the Devourer of Gods, any suggestions? I'm using Tarragon Armor (Melee) with a Legendary Ark of the Elements.
Seraph Tracers, Asgard's Valor, Force of Cosmos, Force of Spirit (from Fargo's Mutant Mod - souls), The Absorber, and Heart of the Elements are my accessories.

You should upgrade your armor to Bloodflare, assuming you're willing to give up the benefits of Tarragon. Ever little bit of defense helps, even if it's only a few extra points. You should also have a fairly lengthy sky arena to fight him on. About half the length of your map would do it, the whole length if you have too much time. And while this is rather cheap to say, skill is sort of the last bit of advice I can give. Just try to memorize his movements and attacks, it'll get easier to remember with each subsequent attempt. Good luck with defeating him (assuming you haven't yet. If you have, great job!).

Might be a obivious question, but are you doing revengeance mode or expert mode?

More to add, it drops from Chaos Elementals (vanilla enemy)
It has a 0.2% to drop, so good luck grinding it.

They can just build a Chaos Elemental farm with lava and traps
