could someone please tell me how to destroy walls?
the pickaxe wont brake it, please tell me how :(

build a crafting bench out of wood and place it on the ground. Next, you can craft a hammer with wood in the crafting menu on the bottom left! Your Welcome!

Hammer.
You need 8 wood to craft it with the workbench.
I also recommend the Official Terraria wiki. It will be your best friend all throughout the game.

The guy's right, the Official Terraria Wiki has been a lifesaver for me progressing through the game.
