I cannot find any souls of light...

Yesterday i was farming souls of light like crazy in my usual hallowed artificial cave, and today i come, and after killing over 20 enemies i only got a single soul of light. Anyone know anything?

It's a 1/5 (1/3 Expert) chance to be dropped by any enemy in the Underground Hallow (Caverns layer iirc). So just keep farming for enemies and you'll eventually get enough souls.

get a bunch of meteorite, make a big hole in the caverns, then make a sphere thats atleast ~50 blocks with the meteorite. that'll spawn meteor heads, and u can farm those for souls

Meteor Heads don't drop any items in hardmode.

Meteor heads do drop items, infact. Everything in the underground light biome has a chance to still be able to drop a soul of light, and vice versa in the underground crimson/corruption.

Im actually in normal, so i should have gotten at least 3...

Huh. I have the recent version, and they still drop items even after I had killed moonlord.

i actually tried meteor head farming for souls and they drop nothing.

They changed meteor head drops years ago.

If you are still struggling, a strategy I use for getting souls is building an artificial biome in the underworld
