Do strange plants generate on world creation?

So I've been thinking about creating a bunch of clean new worlds and then explore the top of them for strange plants so I can get some dye trader dyes because the normal colour of my equipment is kinda getting bland for me. Do strange plants generate on world creation? Because if so, I want to get a BUNCH of them. TY ^^

i dont think so, but if they do they generate in VERY small numbers.

Step 1: Make new world
Step 2: Mine 1000 dirt
Step 3: Make like 5x 200-block lines of grass/dirt
step 4: Wait for a long tiem
step 5: strange plants
