An idea...

Alright, this is a little idea i have, one that i feel like could work very well, possibly...

This idea is to create a dome in terraria, basically my idea is to create a adventure map where you are trying to escape from a dome thats starting to break. this would be a big project, feeling like a mini game inside terraria with 1-1.5 hours of content (which is a lot). Honlestly, this is a stupid idea, in fact, i would have a better time making it with some random 2d game creator and msm paint, then i could make it in 5-6 hours by myself, but i usually like to do something that can be pretty good, plus something that isnt as bad as one fo those flash games, except its trying to be a short game.

So, if you want to help me, go ahead, if you dont, go ahead, i honestly dont care, but what i mainly wanna do is complete this project, even if i have to make it alone. If you want to help, you can either be a builder, terraformer (terraformers break the land and then help out by being a builder), or a idea maker (basically you just create ideas, and you can build).

NOTE: This is open. You can join or you may help the project out if you've already joined. Right now a base of operations is being made that wont disrupt any building in the dome since it is off to the side. Plus my steam profile name will now be "WAKE UP LUTENIENT". I swear i do some of the stupidest stuff.

All spots are full, but you still are allowed to help. If you want the join the gathering list below this, you'll be credited at the end, and you'll be gived a straight-forward job, resource gathering. there can be 10 resource gatherers at a time, you can quit being a resource gatherer, and you'll still be credited in a special section with all the other resource gatherers under a special part of the area called "Material gatherers who've quitted.

Ill just say EST (eastern-standart time) since it doesnt reveal anything at, noon?

Hey, there. Although it’s an amazing idea, and I fully support it, I am not able to help.

But I’m here to suggest keep multiple saves of the world. I’d copy + paste the file every 15 minutes-ish. I’d say this because there are loads of trolls, grief, and other jerks in the community.

I think this may save your world a bit?

a terraformer is techniqally also a builder.
in fact, everyone builds, its just that main builders are the ones who buildat the beginning when about 20% of the terrafroming is done.

alright

terraformers still build, but you can just do something simple like laying down dirt/grass or putting items on item frames.

sorry for a late reply (cause you know sleep is a thing) but im normaly around from 2pm - 9.30 (UK time) pm i also recommend the dome should have more then 1 layer due to the fact it would help with how progress is made in the map and make it less cheeseable

have you guys begun this yet? anyways i kept having some ideas after reading this....like for the name Dome of Doom or Doom Dome let alone ideas like hunger games and/or indiana jones for traps and puzzles. i just want some more info.

edit: i was thinking of a smaller project i am going to do in my own map for an indiana jones adventure area in the jungle. 1 thing i was thinking of is like a blocked tall gate that has a lever puzzle that certain combinations have to be done in order for the signal to be sent to unlock it. but i want to know if it has been started and/or when it will etc.
