Solved: "CONTENT FILE LOCKED" Missing or corrupt: mount_pigron.xnb
Anyone wanna explain to me what this is?
I tried:
-Uninstalling and reinstalling Terr
-Restarting steam
-Uninstalling, restart steam, reinstall Terr
-Running exe directly from the game files (which gave me a whole different error)
-Deleting the file (Since it's corrupt/unreadable it even says I can't delete it...)

A friend sent me a solution which is to reinstall steam over its existing self which appearently should somehow delete the file but I don't see how since it's corrupt and can't be deleted. The solution is for the same "CONTENT FILE LOCKED" thingy, but it's for the game ARK instead. Trying it now...

Edit: Doing the suggested thing doesn't work, as well as running cmd as admin and doing something related to restarting the network connection or something.

Verify the game's files.

If you read the error, it would have told you that the sprite for the pigron mount has been corrupted. Verifying the game's files will reinstall the correct file over the corrupted one.

No, verifying was literally the first thing I did, I just forgot to put it there. Doing so doesn't work because my computer physically could not delete, overwrite, nor replace the file in any way, shape or form due to it being corrupt. What DID fix it was scanning and repairing the driver the game was installed on. Way too confusing to just fix a simple single file that wouldn't install properly.

I blame the corruption. It's always gotta be worms and tentacles.

Your inability to delete the corrupted file makes me suspicious. Were you able to move the file at all?

I know you've solved it, but I'm still curious. I've been here for a while and never seen anything like this.

No, windows just told me it was unable to delete the file. My friend sent me his pigron mount file so I could overwrite it but it wouldn't let me do that either. It was really dumb.
