NPC truffle wont sell auto hammer

i have beating all three mech bosses and plantara 3 times. i also have him in a mushroom biome in a mushroom house but he still wont sell me the auto hammer or the iteams for defeting the mech bosses. plss help

ok so i looked and i got funkytown not i can talk? but i still have him in his house and with the biome if i new how to put screenshots in this message i would show u but i dont know how. i will make his house bigger to see if that works.
