The Companion Cube can stab you?

I was just reading on the wiki, and it said that the companion cube can actually stab you, inflicting 3 damage. Is this true? Has is ever happened to anyone?

3 hp is not that big of a deal, but yes, it can, if you're in total darkness, the not so friendly friend

Yeah. If you stay in a dark room it will stab you. If the cube falls into lava it would make the Lunatic Cultist death sound. It's probably a joke from the game, as GLaDOS says that the cubes "Will not threaten stab you and in fact, can not speak."
The death sound is probably a nod to a common theory that the companion cubes have the bodies of the Aperture Science personnel inside them.

yes, but rarely it will make the moon lord death sound.
