help me find mimics

any tips for farmming and finding mimics running arond with a water candle is starting to get boring

what kind of mimics you need
mimics are rare to find
hallow and corrupt mimics are rarer
cause they just spawn in in attack mode

I recently had a playthrough where I at one point was farming for Flame Wings in hell, but I got a lot of mimic kills in the process. I just made a long bridge of platforms (2-3 screens wide should be enough) and used a water candle and battle potions.

You should use a rare mob finder, it's its own item. It doesn't need to be part of a cell phone.

You can get regular mimic loot in the underworld/ hell. The shadow chests mimics drops the same items as wooden and golden chest mimics. So my first tip would still give you the items that you need.
