Thorium or Calamity or Spirit mod?

New to modded game version of terraria
And i just want to play only one mod at a time and thinking which mod should i play first

I recommend thorium, it's a very well-developed mod, and once you try it, you can't go back.
Calamity is a fairly difficult one. The enemies are tougher, but so are the weapons, this is also a well-developed mod.
Haven't played enough of spirit mod to give my two cents on it.

Calamity

Never tried Spirit. I'd suggest doing both Thorium and Calamity, since they work very well together, but since you are donig one, then Thorium is beginner-friendly and Calamity is if you want a challenge. Calamity also goes further than Thorium.

Most populare ones are N-Terraria, Tremor, Calamity and Thorium. N-Terraria however, runs on a completely different program since it adds a leveling system you would find in your run of the mill RPG, such as EXP leveling, skills/abilities, race perks and quests.
