Paint sprayer not working..?

Topic. Doesnt do anything. I have paint in inventory, I have it equipped, not hidden. Wtf?

it automatically paints blocks you place. you have to use the paintbrush to paint blocks placed already.

I know this, I've used it massively in the past, it's just suddenly not doing anything at all.

In top/left you should have icon that turn on/off painting when you press it, check it maybe you have that turned off

Is this the "visible on/off" ? I've tried both disabling and enabling.

I had the exact same issue but I also used "The Grand Design" a lot and had accidentally switched the paint sprayer to the offsetting in the top left when trying to click other stuff. Thank you @Giott for helping me solve that, greatly appreciated.
