There's also a world-editing software called TEdit. It's third party, but doesn't have ads or payments.

Also, start a world with your current character and get to where the bartender spawns in, then kill him.

Please stop promoting builders workshop, as for it ruins the fun for people.

How so? You're not forced to use it. Some people just want to build, or skip early game grind. And even if they do ruin the fun, so what? They're just ruining it for themselves. That's their problem. Why do you think everyone should be forced to gather everything themselves even if they just want to build? Elitist.
