Can't Craft a Pickaxe (SOLVED)

Sooooo I've had Terraria for a while now, and still have the copper pickaxe from the start. I've mined lead, gold, tin, and tungsten, gone to my anvil, and nothing comes up. I even tried using cacti, but all that comes is cactus armor and a cactus sword. I always carry wood with me, and I assume I've always had enough ingots in order to craft a pickaxe, and yet nothing comes up. Am I doing anything wrong?

i got tunsten pick axe when i made 15 tungsten bar

Tip, if you need to see how much an item costs, use one material you know you need to craft it with, go to the guide select crafting. then put said item in the ittle box that appears next to the crafting menu.
