whats the best mage weapon for eye of cthulhu?

well that depends because no magic weapon is truely the "best" for fighting it

to be honest most magic weapons in pre hardmode probably won't help with the EoC

well maybe something like the amethyst staff could work or one of it's more powerful counterparts

Edit: only some worlds have it above the underground level in the dungeon all worlds have atleast one inside the dungeon

yeah i mean weapons that all worlds can have. pre-their respective bosses also you dont need to post links about the items. i know them.

Gem staves are your best bet if you dont include the water bolt, specifically the diamond and ruby ones made with platinum/gold respectivly

ok thank you. do you know any good mage accesories?

i dont think there are many, the band of starpower is the only one i know off the top of my head before eye, for armour i recommend jungle hat/pants and a diamond robe

ok the band of starpower may help and trust me. im on normal mode on expert. so noone needs that armor
