Truffle won't spawn?

i have all the best gear and everything. i have beaten Moon Lord several times as well. but even when i build enough houses for him to spawn, truffle wont appear. i have a house in the mushroom biome as well. is there something i have to do or is it bugged?

You have to build a glowing mushroom biome on the surface for him to spawn.

did u build his house before u killed plantea. then yea its bugged. Also there are other conditinos for him to spawn as well. the truffle house needs to have at lease 200+ blocks of mud and mushroom grass all around the house. There should be mushroom trees as well.

No u dont you can still build house in the natural mushroom bio u have have to make there u meet the other requirements

I have spawn in many times in the underground mushroom bio. This is a fact. U can spawn him in space if u want as long u meet the other requirements.

Checked wiki, three of them to be exact, all of them state that you need a surface mushroom biome for the truffle to spawn.

Checked wiki, three of them to be exact, all of them state that you need a surface mushroom biome for the truffle to spawn.

yea u can have a murshrom bio nautlly spawn anywayere from 1 to 463 depth it goes up to around 700 feet underground. so yes u can have him spawn in a natully bio. U still have todo some work. u need to change the wall to a suitable wall There must be 200 with 2 block thick.,Blocks of mud with mushroom grass, cant not be near any corruption

If it spawns at 1 depth, then it is a surface mushroom biome, your point?

The spawn requirements for the truffle are a mushroom biome that grows mushi trees on the surface and plantera dead in the world, it does not matter ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ if the biome is natural or not

"It" because mushrooms spread thru spores, not by breeding normally

The Truffle will spawn any time in Hardmode as long as there is a house in a surface mushroom biome. (Although, in my experience, he hasn't always taken said house; it just needs to be there)
