Can you catch snow biome quest fish in corrupt/crimson snow biomes?

You can but corruption drops will take priority

I'm not certain you understood my question. I am specifically referring to the quest fish from the angler. I'm not sure how priority would matter in that case. I do know that they share fish drops with corruption/crimson, but I am not sure if quest fish can be caught at all...

i know this is an old post, but i dont believe that you can get snow quest fish in corrupt/crimson snow biomes but you can get the clentaminator (2 platinum from the steampunker) and spray the surrounding areas with purity bottles that are also sold by the steampunker, and voila, a pure snow biome that you can fish for quests in. i hope this answers your question!

Yeah I've since learned that corruption/hallow overwrites the snow biome, however mixing the two gives you a chance of catching that special mount item.

I think it does not work. At least for me the evil seemed to overwrite any underlying biomes.
