I wouldn't mind if the elevation changed by 10 or 20 blocks. But my small world is crazy. The snow/ corruption "hills" if you will are literally 20 (10 blocks) ft or whatever from space. I can jum and it flicks from surface to space.
SO when I flatten things I end up with ramps or elevators sometimes going 100 blocks this or that direction and it's so ugly. I'm just surprised they never added in any world generation options, or creative mode (not that I would ever use it).
I know what the game became pretty much put the dev(s) at their limit of what they could do working on old code, etc. Like any game that becomes too big for its undies.
