Anyone else wish we could make flat worlds?
So every time I go into a new world, I'm constantly terraforming the spawn around the average height of the area by hand (yes, I am aware I can use a map editor, but I don't want to lose some of the worlds nice natural generation).

It would just be cool if there were an option, or a mod upon creating a world that you could select that would make the surface level flat, excluding structures like the dungeon, obviously, at the average height of any small, medium, way too big world.

I know I know. Game is like 8 years old or something at this point. It would just be an awesome quality of life thing and save people from using some big eraser on the world and having a weird surface with many ups and downs however flat. Of course I'm probably one of the only 10 people who care about the integrity of things like the dungeon or the below ground natural generation.

So yes, the people who read the title and immediately smash their faces on the keyboards and roll it around a bit with caps lock on... I have tedit for when I'm being lazy, or fixing up brand new worlds I don't care to spoil to save from using a stupid copper pick to clear space.

Terracustom can do some job of that, by adjusting surface elevation. Never tried making the world completely flat with it though

I wouldn't mind if the elevation changed by 10 or 20 blocks. But my small world is crazy. The snow/ corruption "hills" if you will are literally 20 (10 blocks) ft or whatever from space. I can jum and it flicks from surface to space.

SO when I flatten things I end up with ramps or elevators sometimes going 100 blocks this or that direction and it's so ugly. I'm just surprised they never added in any world generation options, or creative mode (not that I would ever use it).

I know what the game became pretty much put the dev(s) at their limit of what they could do working on old code, etc. Like any game that becomes too big for its undies.
