What's the safest and easiest way to get these materials?

Sturdy fossils, emeralds, and arcane dust, oh, did you know you can get a whoopie cushoine from a giant worm? I didn't and I just did!

Arcane dust you get from Stars, 1 star = 5 dust, or 3 dust, cant remember.
sturdy fossils are from the desert ore, put the ore into an extraternator.
emeralds, get lucky when going mining, they glow green, use spelunker potion.

How do i get spelunker's potion? In all of my time playing Terraria, I've only found ONE

make it with Bottled water, blinkroot, moonglow and gold ore. or find them in underground chests / pots

Also emeralds can be gotten from silt slush and sturdy fossils too if yo uput them in an extractinator and get lucky.
